California Provider Appointment Access Survey (PAAS) Validation – (DMHC) Timely Access Validation Audit
Advent helps you meet California’s requirement to validate the accuracy of Provider Appointment Access Survey (PAAS) results and corresponding Timely Access Compliance Reports submitted to the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC).
All California full-service and behavioral health plans are required to hire an independent data validator to ensure the accuracy and completeness of timely access compliance data
In the All Plan Letter issued on March 8, 2019 (APL19-008 (OPM) – Timely Access Compliance Reports MY 2019) the California Department of Managed Health Care renewed the requirement that all health plans hire an external vendor to validate their Measurement Year 2019 Provider Appointment Access Survey (PAAS) data in support of the Timely Access Compliance Report (TAR) submission to DMHC.
In preparation for the March 31, 2021 submission deadline, each health plan must secure an agreement with an external validation vendor.
