Client Manager

Job Title: Client Manager                     
Reports to: Program Director

Position Summary: 

The Client Manager is responsible for leading client engagements and delivering audit, data validation, and consulting services that reflect Advent’s passion for client success and satisfaction, partnership, accuracy, and results delivered on time and with no surprises.

 

Essential functions:

  1. Client Engagements/Projects: Lead client engagements and related projects to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and retention.
  2. Providing the Service: Provide data validation, audit, and related consulting services in accordance with Advent’s Signature Process.
  3. Client Deliverables/Results: Provide accurate results delivered on-time and with no surprises; facilitate client success; identify risks, issues, or delays early and escalate appropriately.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Maintain a client-first approach in all areas; ensure ongoing and clear communication channels; build personal connections; provide exceptional customer service.
  5. Thought Leadership/Technical Expertise: Maintain technical expertise in related subject matter; continuously share knowledge with clients and other team members; contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and client resources to enhance client experience

Required education, certifications and/or experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, social science, statistics or other related field. Master’s degree in related field preferred. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ direct experience with healthcare consulting, audit or data validation experience. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ direct experience working in health care data analytics, compliance, performance measurement, IT, programming, systems development, or other related experience at a health plan or health system.
  • Minimum 5 years’ direct experience with HEDIS data collection, accreditation and/or reporting.
  • Certified HEDIS Compliance Auditor current certification required.  This position requires active CHCA credentials.  Training can be provided by Advent to achieve CHCA certification; however, NCQA certification must be achieved within one year of hire data to continue to meet job qualifications. 
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to assign audit decisions based on data and facts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in cyclical, deadline‑driven environments.
  • Knowledge of other healthcare regulatory or accreditation programs (e.g., CMS Part C and D, URAC) preferred.

 

Physical Requirements/Work environment: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to speak, hear, and comprehend both written and verbal communications.
  • Must have home office, mobile phone, computer with security requirements met and be comfortable working in a fully remote work environment.
